Course Level/Prerequisites/Final Exam

This is an introductory level course. A Certificate of Completion is issued once you pass the final exam with a mark of 70% of higher. Recommended companion courses are; Building Your Case for Donorship Support, Corporate Fundraising That Works, How Fundraising Works, How to Develop Corporate Sponsorships.

Sisters and Co-founders of Story Point Consulting Rochelle and Roxanne work together to build fundraising capacity for small, grassroots nonprofit teams.

As someone who loves numbers, video games and fantasy fiction, Rochelle uses her 15+ years of experience in analytics and reporting to help nonprofits increase their fundraising capacity and revenue by using data-driven decision making. Roxanne is a creative, an avid tap dancer and instructor who enjoys crafting and baking. With over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector including as a former Executive Director, Roxanne uses her skills to help nonprofit teams develop genuine and long-term relationships with their donors. She excels at writing impact stories, donor stewardship strategies, and donor prospecting.

Together, Rochelle and Roxanne have worked with various organizations across Canada, developing and refining fundraising plans. Rochelle and Roxanne have also spoken and led webinars at provincial and national conferences including The Canadian Association of Gift Planners, The Association of Fundraising Professionals, The Western Canada Fundraising Conference, The Recreation Manitoba Conference, and the Ontario Therapeutic Recreation Association.
